At AM Aesthetic Surgery, we are honoured by patients from out of the Yorkshire area who travel to us to have their surgery done by Professor Mahajan. Whilst we feel privileged to be able to help you achieve your goals, we would like to warn patients that it is not safe to travel by long haul flights immediately before or after your surgery as it increases your risk of acquiring deep venous thrombosis (DVT), which can lead to Pulmonary embolism (PE) that can be life-threatening.  Short flights and travel by train or car mitigates this risk.

Out of town patients will need to travel in and meet with Professor Mahajan for a consultation to discuss their surgical plan. They will then need to return at a later date for their surgery. We advise that you make your GP aware of your surgery and have him/her available to follow up with you once you return home. Professor Mahajan will write a detailed report to your GP about the surgery and any implants that he may have used.

“I have a larger birthmark on my right backside that is about 8X5 cm big. It is very brownish and in the contrast with the rest of the body is very visible. I had it since my birth and am not sure how to treat it, is it dangerous to remove it etc. Every advice would be welcomed. I might have free time in May or June (I live in the SE)”

“Thanks for your response to my initial enquiry. I am , in fact, asking on behalf of my son. We are living in America. He is 21 years old and has had his nose broken 2-3 times in his life and is desperate to get it straight!!!”

“Further to my consultation, and my phone call to Nichola, I confirm that I do still want to go ahead with my operation.  As long as I have at least one week’s notice I could attend any time from Lancashire.  I’ve got a holiday booked in mid-May, so if we could arrange something before mid-April this would be ideal for me.”

I live in Dubai and wants some further advice. I am a size 10 and have ‘bingo wings’.  Do you need to treat me with liposuction or would I need an arm lift procedure.

As I told you before, I’m considering multi-part liposuction. As I’m out of the UK in Egypt, I would also like to know the precise time between consultation and the liposuction procedure because of work vacation, aviation ticket and so. I trust you Dr. Mahajan and that’s why I chose you to conduct my liposuction.

“I’ve done a lot of searching around and I’m convinced that AM Aesthetic Surgery is the best route to take. I’m 22 years old and I’ve got 34G/GG breasts. I’ve always had quite pendulous breasts with a large but pale and undefineable areola, they are very droopy and in need of a good lift. I suffer with quite bad faded stretch marks and I overall — HAAAAATE — my chest. I’d love to book a consultation with you, I live down in Cumbria so it’s going to be a bit of a drive but I’m certain we can work an appropriate time out.”

“I have been looking into upper eyelid surgery for some time as I have extremely droopy upper eyelids, that are getting worse. I live in London, but my family all live in Leeds and would go there to recuperate after. Can you give me a price for upper eyelid and also any further info regarding the procedure – how long is recovery? Will it be general anaesthetic and do you offer finance?”

“I have seen your great reviews and am very interested in getting Rhinoplasty at your clinic. I would love to hear back from you and would appreciate any advise you have to offer. If you could also let me know prices that would be great. I am based in London, UK but am very happy to travel.”
